Planview was expanding its operations in the New Zealand market and decided to use an agent to help research the market. The success of the recruitment relied on understanding the type of candidates required, the local market and understanding the right questions to ask. Planview looked at a number of sources and quickly realised that the recruitment process required an organisation that Planview could trust and could help guide Planview through the process to ensure success. Many recruitment companies offer a long list of candidates, simply matched by assessing the job description with a list of candidates that are kept on file. This approach did not provide a sufficient guarantee that the right candidate would be selected.
Planview looked for a company that would act in its interests and found Searchworks. A dedicated team of individuals, who has extensive knowledge of each its candidates, matching them very closely to the requirements of Planview. Searchworks demonstrated a clear understanding of the market in which we operated, the type of people we looked to employ and importantly took time to understand the culture of Planview and what it was bringing to the candidate. The only problem I had with Searchworks was that they provided too many good candidates, all very capable of performing the job, making the decision much tougher.
